Sarah discussing the potential Diabetes research institute in Paris

A member of the European Parliament's working group on diabetes, Sarah recently met executives from pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson, which is setting up a Diabetes Research institute in Paris.

Sarah commented: "It is predicted that by the middle of this century, 10% of Europeans, 50 million people, will have diabetes. That makes research to try and control - or better still cure - it a top health priority."
