EU must press for political solution for Kurds

In a speech in the European Parliament on Thursday 6th April, Sarah Ludford condemned the excessive force of the Turkish army in suppressing Kurdish protests and urged the EU to encourage the Turkish government to open a democratic dialogue seeking a political solution to the Kurdish issue.
